In the four years since "Everybody Matters" — the book I co-authored with Raj Sisodia, the story of my and Barry-Wehmiller’s leadership journey — was released, we are always surprised and overjoyed to see who it has reached.

We often hear stories of book clubs inside businesses or civic organizations. We’re still seeing it on “best of” lists. And frequently, through social media or in person, we hear stories from individuals of how the book has touched their lives.

Everybody Matters has now been translated into five languages. Most recently, it was translated for release in Spain. Robert Karro and Manuel Tallada of MRC International Training (pictured below, right) facilitated this release to help supplement the work they are doing with Spanish businesses.

As they said in one email: “Why is Bob’s book so important? Because it underlines what we train at MRC and because it is a wonderful and emotional road map of best practices proving how treating people correctly is the best way forward to creating best results.”

When the book was released in the Spanish market, we received a number of testimonials from business leaders in that country about the impact "Everybody Matters" has made on their leadership.

We’re very proud that our message continues to take root all over the world and that we’re adding to our army of partners in building a better world. Please continue to help us share and spread Truly Human Leadership!

Here are some of those testimonials:

While some think the labor force is only an additional element to reach objectives, Bob Chapman has converted his workers into the “ultimate goal” for his group of companies… This may appear rather elemental, but it is revolutionary. Without a doubt this book will make you think, and… TAKE ACTION.

IÑIGO ZABALA, President at WARNER MUSIC Latino América and Spain.

The temptation of believing that the only important factor for the big corporations is results, exists. “Everybody Matters” shows that if a “real and long term” difference in the manner of treating people is used, corporative results will be affected very positively. Even in the most adverse conditions. Leadership is placing confidence in your people.

JOSÉ ANTONIO CANALES, CEO at VISCOFAN

This is the book that every CEO should read in order to deepen the evolution of leadership within their companies. We need to connect and inspire intentionally and consciously with our teams. Only by putting the interests of our people first, will we obtain their greatest potential.

RAÚL GONZÁLEZ, CEO at BARCELÓ HOTEL GROUP

Companies with the best results in any walk of life are those that have implemented into their culture real care and attention, felt from the heart, for their employees and co-workers. Mere words are worthless. Profit is relevant but people are much more so. This book will help you understand this and bring it into daily practice.

ANTONIO BARDERAS NIETO, Director at the MADRID ASSOCIATION of FAMILY BUSINESSES

“Everybody Matters” is the best, real entrepreneurial story ever told about true leadership. Bob Chapman shows us how to believe in every individual.

FERNANDO PASCUAL BAÑULS, Managing Director Spain & Portugal at COMPASS GROUP SPAIN

“Every human being is important and unique”. This idea is developed and worked on by Bob Chapman and Raj Sisodia in “Everybody Matters.” Putting people at the center, through the company’s culture and values, is the keys to any company’s success.

It has been an inspirational read, absolutely recommended for all top executives who want to push for the transformation of the business world.

MARCELINO OREJA, CEO at ENAGAS
